Taveuni Dive Resort - Waiyevo

We loved diving at the Rainbow Reef and exploring the nearby golf course. The food was fantastic. Make sure to try the meal package. You won't regret it!

One downside was the lack of air conditioning in the bures, a bit uncomfortable on hot nights. It's something to keep in mind, especially if you're sensitive to heat.

Room was lovely when upgraded. Fine base for weekend in Waiyevo. We had fun in the pool of the hotel.

A fair review, pros and cons

Friendly staff and superb dive master ratio made every dive nice. Meals were good and the room was well-maintained with excellent amenities.

No air conditioning in bures may be challenging on hot nights for some. Limited Wi-Fi only in common areas can hinder connectivity.

The dive operation was well run, and the staff were attentive throughout our stay.

The payment process was rushed, leaving no time to review the charges accurately.

Free Wi-Fi in public areas and an excellent outdoor pool, but the management could be friendlier.

I was nearly ready to leave a glowing review, until i found out about the 3% credit card surcharge-utterly ridiculous for such a supposedly high-end place. Not to mention the tiny, cramped platforms for diving, an absolute headache. A complimentary drink woudl ve been nice too, but i guess that's just asking too much.

The diving experience was great, and the friendly staff were wonderful. The nearby golf course was a bonus too.

In my wife's opinion, more kids' activities would be great.

Lighting in the bures confusing!!! Mouldy bathroom mats exchanged between guests are unsettling!!! Hot water heater issues and inadequate cleaning standards shouldn't be overlooked!!! Poor Wi-Fi access limits connectivity to the restaurant only!!!

Just a good pick for one night in Waiyevo with real value for money. The shower had great water pressure, refreshing after a long day. Make sure to ask about local dive sites for more options.

Couple's paradise for diving lovers

I felt the genuine warmth of the staff, rare these days. The local Fijian night was an absolute highlight, with music and food.

It wasn't exactly affordable, but honestly, worth every penny.

My stay was amazing as the resort is just a few steps across the main road to catch a boat to the fine dive sites and only 3 km from the amazing views of Mount Uluigalau, making every city stroll or nature walk easy and rewarding.

An excellent fit for a momentary visit in Waiyevo with very good value for money. The open concept shower in my bures was a standout feature, making for a refreshing experience. Consider trying out the local dive spots for more adventure!

Taveuni Dive Resort features splendid bures nestled in lush gardens, providing a calming ambiance. The staff's genuine warmth and eagerness to help stood out. Although mosquitoes were prevalent, the stunning dive sites made every moment worthwhile, and the unique Fijian night experience was nice.

Loved the spacious bures with private patios and the very nice diving right at our doorstep. We enjoyed packing lunches for day trips, made exploring so much easier!

This place is magnificent! The location in the smaller island of Fiji is absolutely stunning. The staff here are genuine and friendly, ensuring that my every need was met. The service provided, from room service to housekeeping, was top-notch. The room itself was beautiful, with a comfortable sitting area and a lovely terrace where I could relax and enjoy the view. The hotel also had a spa and wellness centre, where I indulged in a rejuvenating massage. The swimming pool area was well-kept, with plenty of sun loungers for me to bask in the sun. my experience here was fantastic.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Fiji.
